ACL Medical Training School provides students with quality and affordable Nurse Aide Training by experienced and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Upon successful completion of the State Exam, NAs will become Certified in the state in which they reside. Earning potential once certified is $18-$25 per hour!!
Duties
Someone trained to help patients/residents or clients with healthcare needs such as personal care tasks/activities of daily living which involve bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, mobility/transfers, and performing basic nursing skills (obtain temp, blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, etc) under the supervision of a licensed professional e.g Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
REQUIREMENT
- At least 16 years or older
- High school diploma, Transcript, G.E.D or Equivalency
- Must pass National Criminal Background Check
- Must have a current TB/Mantoux test (1st and 2nd step) or QuantiFERON TB Gold blood test. Chest X-Ray is acceptable up to 5 years from service date if you have tested positive in the past to taking a TB test
- COVID-19 vaccine or waiver is NOT REQUIRED for admission; however, if the Clinical facilities require students to have a COVID-19 Vaccine card or Medical or Religious Waiver, the student MUST comply.
- Able to read, write, speak English fluently
- Ability to pass Basic Comprehension and Math entry test
